caught it today at cineleisure. they were showing corpse bride and corpse bride digital. i wonder what's the difference. if digital is supposed to be clearer, why don't they make every theatre they have to be digital. but again, maybe some movies don't have the digital versions. not too sure how it works.

the movie is good. not the usual kind of animation flicks that little kids would appreciate. it takes a more matured mind to actually appreciate the brilliant piece of work. everything's really detailed and the characters' expressions are impeccable.

i would give it 4.5 popcorns outta 5. i like charlie and the chocolate factory better than corpse bride. charlie and the chocolate factory is ace. not just good.

anyway i went to kinokuniya and discovered that the 11 volumes of sandman will cost me $300+ for the softcover and $500+ for the hardcover. maybe someone would like to erm contribute? haha.

the new national library is huge. but there are books that i wanted to borrow that were either "not available yet" or all on loan. they should carry more of these popular books. or popular books like these should be for 1 week loan only. really, who needs 3 weeks to finish a book if it's really good.

i have not forgotten about blogger. i love my blog.

my comp is up again after i changed my graphic card. but afterall it has been more than 3 years and the other parts are not performing at their best anymore. if this damn thing breaks down again, i'll probably give repairing a pass. it cost $60 for me to replace the damn graphic card.

the stupid delivery fellas for my new fridge were late for 2 hours. i called and the supervisor said that his delivery team is stuck in a traffic jam. i can't be bothered to scold him over the phone because today is a nice day and i don't want it to be spoilt. anyway mummy came home early today and i left her to settle it with them eventually.

he had to come over today thanks to the damn fridge. otherwise i could've met him outside and have a better dinner. prata was good though. haven't had prata at the coffeeshop outside my house for a long time. the last time my friends went, they were overcharged and they stopped going. so did i.

i got new sandals! havaianas! thanks dear.

it feels a little uncomfortable though. i haven't worn sandals for a long time and it sure feels a little weird. but i'll get used to it. just like i got used to your nonsense and stop bickering with you. haha!

supposed to on a cruise over the weekend. but decided that is too expensive for 3 people to go on a cruise when all we will do is gamble. so we decided to go on the cheapo one.

paul fell sick again. and her eccentric daddy gave her some weird medicine and she felt even more sick after taking it. the weird medicine can only cure maya's illness lah uncle! lol.

so i was activated to stand in for her at the shop today.

there was this weird auntie who is really cheapskate. she took around 20 bottles of shampoo and asked me about the difference. in the end she just asked, "which is the cheapest?"

and she bought that cheapest shampoo. and a very cheap leash too. she asked me for cheap and good food and i told her there isn't anything like that for sale. whatever.

there's this dog that's there for boarding. really scary. her ears are rotting and i think it is damn disgusting. i don't know how people keep dogs until their ears can rot. and they just put the dog there for boarding because they don't want to take care of the sick dog. pffft. might as well not keep a dog in the first place.

the comp is not up yet. i don't know if i should just buy a graphic card and see if it works. i am 99% sure it's the graphic card error.

don't have much to do at home.

watched 8 episodes of tian long ba bu since yesterday.

my comp is down. some hardware error. i think the graphic card is worn off already. it's about time already actually.

ok i think i am quite bored at home today. the weather's really hot and even refund doesn't wanna get out of the house. thought it will be a nice day to bring him out to east coast.

have to go down to far east to help my brother sell his phone away. he's changing phones every 6 months. wonder where he get his money from. motorola e1000. looks like quite a cute phone actually with 3g technology. anyone interested? maybe i can sell it to someone i know instead, so i need not go to town.

i am beginning to hate town a little. it's getting very crowded.

oh yeah, sunny's face is full orange now. no longer the dull yellow tone when he was a little boy. come to think of it, i never posted his pictures here. i always wanted to. i like to post pics. but ever since my trusty sony died on me, it has been really difficult.

it's the term break for many schools now i think. so everyday, i'll log in to maplestory and find that most channels are close to full. and getting from place to place is kinda irritating as the buses are usually very packed. i'm glad it's only for a week.

it's fun to spend time with him just doing something. anything. or maybe nothing at all. perhaps it's not the activity that matters, it's the company.

i'm surprised there are people who think that they know what's going when they are just blinded by a well cooked-up 1 sided story. or maybe a pathetic oh-please-sympathise-with-me kinda tale.

oh here i go again.

i wonder what's the rationale behind the "z" and "x" people love to put behind their words. although it is not as irritating as the alternate caps way of typing, it kinda irks me to see that people are still typing this way. it might seem cute and all 5 years ago. yes, 5 years ago. or maybe more. it's no longer cute. it's passe.

but it will still seem alright if people feel like substituting the "s" with a "z" sometimes. in this case, i would find it acceptable. just don't add it when it is not supposed to be there. it's just like adding legs to a snake.

and erm yah. i think those are called mini coopers. although they are grouped under the sports coupe category, i doubt anyone will call it a mini coupe. just sounds odd.

i think the only people i see sporting purple hair nowadays are those characters in maplestory. in real life, you'll probably only see them in nightclubs. beehive style.

i knew it was a bad idea to go downstairs to find something to eat. somehow i just felt not so right about it. but i went anyway. and the worst idea was to do the dishes at the same time. there were 2 dirty plates that has been in my room for some time, so i decided to wash them since i was going downstairs.

refund followed me down as usual. he follows me everywhere when i am at home. he made a dash for the door when he reached the 1st storey as he thought i was gonna bring him out. he always thinks i am going to bring him out. haha.

but when his first foot hit the ground at the living room, he let out a big yelp. then he froze and whined for awhile. he spent no more time thinking and scrambled to me.

i was at the kitchen door already when that happened. so i looked over to see what is happening. nothing. it was then when i felt the hair at the back of my neck standing.

fuck.

it took me 2 seconds to react after that.

i didn't want to stand there too long in case i see something. and i didn't want to walk back to my room because i will pass by that spot if i did. so i decided to pretend nothing has happened and went on to wash the dishes. it took like forever. and all the time i was thinking about what to do next. and refund stood alert at the kitchen door, facing the living room.

i think he was a little shocked before and he had already regained his composure. he is a brave dog. and he just stood there watching, like he always do when he encounters a bigger dog.

once i was done with the dishes, i took a slice of cake from the fridge and ran all the way up without looking. refund followed behind closely.

finally we reached the safety of my room. ok. at least i hope it's safe.

wow. it has been a long time. and i almost forgot that blogger/blogspot even existed.

went to indonesia yesterday to board this entertainment cruise. oh well, it's not a cruise actually since the damn thing doesn't even move. it stays anchored in the middle of the international waters and we had to take a fast craft from batam to get to it.

the place is not really classy. there are aunties with big handbags and tattooed eyebrows shoving their way around. there was one that was so engrossed in playing roulette that she knocked my chips down twice with her sagging boobs. morever there're so many people around and half of the population there smokes. the whole place is like really cloudy.

there weren't many games. only blackjack (which is very crowded), baccarat (which table minimum is 100 per hand), SKP (which is also very crowded), dice (which i don't really like to play) and 3 card poker (where everyone seems glued to the chair). and i don't like machine games. so i stuck to roulette with mummy. won $900 i think. but i didn't get to keep any.

refund chewed up my handphone charger.

i am sad.
