:: handling ::

went for the handling class last night. there was quite alot of people, much more than i expected. helena's great. she gave each and every one of us some helpful tips and correct our bad habits. i guess it's up to us now to ponder over it and integrate it into our handling and training methods. but seriously some people who were at the advanced class shouldn't be there. they should be at the beginners class. cause they can't even get into their lil heads where the imaginary ring was. marked by 4 flower pots at each corner, how difficult can it get? they should bear in mind that their spastic brains are wasting everyone's precious time.

but all in all, i think i managed to really capture everything she said. i just need the time to practice it. the show's tomorrow and i doubt i have any time. training is off today since tomorrow's the big day.

:: don't make the children beg ::

i was at dhoby ghaut mrt today when a hoard of school girls surrounded me, asking for donations. in their hands were little tin cans with some children home's logo printed on the white paper wrapping the tins.

c'mon, they have hands and legs. they are neither disabled nor sick. so why can't the parties organising such fund raising events be more logical. the children can

1) go to the homes to help out
2) sell their unwanted items to raise funds
3) design and make some handicraft items or postcards to be sold
4) prepare a concert or choir and sell tickets to raise money
5) do odd jobs like the scouts

i am not stingy. but when it comes to things like this, i won't donate. i think the organisations are exploiting school kids to raise funds. their 6(?) hour community service per annum could be put into a better use. by not walking around with tin cans, but instead doing some real work, they get to learn things in the process. i think it's much more effective that way.

:: some updates ::

it has been a long time since i last wrote. haven't been writing much these days. had been real busy with so many stuff ongoing at the same time.

watched 'my girl' with paul today. it's quite a good show. but too bad it's in thai and reading the subtitles somehow took my attention off the show a little. it would had been better if it was in a language i understand. he had rubber bands in his pocket and he wept. that was the best part in the show, in my opinion.

refund is stripped and all ready to go. hopefully the class this friday would do both of us some good. the show's this weekend and i am looking forward to it. somehow a 3 months gap seems terribly long. it's real good fun and i am itching for it since the last show came to an end.

gotta watch my finances. been spending too much lately. still manageable but i don't want to succumb to the bad habit i painstakenly kicked some time back.

things on my mind now... it's weird how some people come and go in our lives...

:: the girl with sore eyelids ::

you think, those eyes
are looking at you with envy

but lady, you're wrong
they're nothing but jealousy

she whines, she cries
hoping to get attention

but all, she gets
is just jeers and rejection

a mask, she wears
so don't be a fool

stay clear, of her
relax and stay cool

:: my analysis ::

great. this is accurate. now all my fans reading my blog will know me better.

Natal Year number: 9
A cheerful soul, Ralph is an attractive individual whose humour and charm can inspire others to follow his ideas. Although his active brain can generate many bright ideas, he cannot be guaranteed to finish one idea before starting on the next. Although money tends to burn a hole in his pocket, Ralph will always maintain the impression that all is well.

Natal Month number: 2
Compassionate and supportive of others, Ralph is something of a perfectionist who will find it hard to delegate even routine tasks. Ralph is hard-working and good with details, but to get the best out of him, Ralph needs to know that in the end his efforts will be properly rewarded and acknowledged.

Natal House number: 3
With a high energy level, and ambitions to match, Ralph will show early promise. Unless his tendency to expel this energy on too many projects can be overcome, a promising beginning may soon evaporate, giving way to anger and frustration. Ralph is someone who enjoys a good time with an active social life, and needs the direction of more sober minds.

Comments based on Western Grid

11

Ralph is a balanced individual who can understand and appreciate the views of others as well as his own. He can express himself fluently, and with persuasive conviction, whilst taking account of opposing views. This means that Ralph will get on very well with colleagues at work, both senior and junior, as well as clients, customers, suppliers and external agencies.

2

Sensitive to criticism and naturally intuitive, Ralph has a natural ability to detect insincerity in others. Because he is a sensitive soul, Ralph can be a solid friend and a good listener. As a result, he will get on well with colleagues, whilst being more than capable of handling office politics.

5

Well-balanced, with an understanding and compassionate nature, Ralph is a natural leader who can inspire others. But he needs a certain amount of freedom at work and at home. With a compassionate and caring nature, and with the ability to get on well with others, Ralph will be a strong member of any team and will provide solid inspiration and support to his colleagues.

7

Ralph will find life's lessons hard to learn. He will suffer from loss (of possessions or those he loves) before questioning the cause of that loss. It is likely that Ralph will develop a faith of some sort, and although it need not necessarily be a religious faith, it will nevertheless be something that he holds onto against all the evidence. Potential employers need to find out what that faith entails.

8

Good with details and with a methodical approach, Ralph nevertheless is someone who enjoys constant new challenges to maintain his interest. He is a methodical individual with attention to detail, but is inclined to leave tasks unfinished if his active mind alights on something of greater interest. Routine tasks that fail to challenge his intellect are at greatest risk, so Ralph needs a job that offers variety.

9

Ambitious to improve his lot, Ralph will constantly push forward to achieve something in his life, yet this ambition will be balanced by humanitarian ideals that will lead him to support causes that may demand self-sacrifice.
[The Arrow of Activity: the numbers 7, 8 and 9] Enjoying the outdoors, Ralph is someone who will perform best by being busy. He dislikes confined spaces, and needs both physical and mental exercise. A good walk in fresh air is an intellectual catalyst like no other to Ralph, whose need to be constantly occupied is an asset to any employer.
[The Arrow of Determination: the numbers 1, 5 and 9] Determined and persistent, Ralph has the patience to wait until he has achieved his goal. He enjoys a progressive and enterpreneurial approach, and as such, will be an asset to any employer. If the number 4 (in the Western Grid) is missing, he will be inclined to lose his temper on occasions.
[The Arrow of Emotional Balance: the numbers 2, 5 and 8] Understanding and compassionate, Ralph is well-balanced. He possesses sound leadership qualities that are of use in a wide variety of jobs. With an understanding and compassionate nature, Ralph can appreciate the views of others, and thus gain the respect of the community in which he lives or works.

Comments based on Chinese Grid

1

Ralph will make some money and enjoy a reasonable standard of living.

22

Unless he also has the numbers 4 and 9 in the Chinese Version, Ralph will be lethargic, and likely to suffer from ill health.

44

Rather stubborn, Ralph is inclined to believe that he is always right. But he enjoys high intelligence, and often thinks that he is superior to others.

8

In the absence (in the Chinese version) of the numbers 1 and 6, he will be good with money and details. He will be happier if the Chinese grid includes the numbers 5 and 7.

9

Although Ralph is ambitious, his ambition is tempered with humanitarian ideals.
[The Arrow of Intellect: The numbers 2, 4 and 9] Ralph is intelligent, articulate and enjoys a first-class memory. He has a logical and analytical approach that suits him to the legal, medical or accountancy professions.
[The Arrow of Loneliness: Lacking the numbers 3, 5 and 7] Ralph is so determined to achieve his objectives that he does so at the expense of all else, including friends, family, love and laughter.

:: feline enemies ::

he fought with the local cat again today. the damn pussy was hissing at him, showing no fear nor respect. i released the lock on the leash and he went at top speed, plunging himself at the wretched feline. 2 bouts and the little ill-mannered creature bowed its head down in shame and scurried off. and he can't get enough of it, pulling on the fully extended leash, barking taunts at the demised enemy.

i hate pussies.

:: iq ::
Congratulations, Ralph!
Your IQ score is 136

This number is the result of a formula based on how many questions you answered correctly on Tickle's Classic IQ test. Your IQ score is scientifically accurate; to read more about the science behind our IQ test, click here.

During the test, you answered four different types of questions — mathematical, visual-spatial, linguistic and logical. We analyzed how you did on each of those questions which reveals how your brain uniquely works.

We also compared your answers with others who have taken the test, and according to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is Visual Mathematician.

This means you are gifted at spotting patterns — both in pictures and in numbers. These talents combined with your overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results.

:: competition ::

competitions are so bitchy. it's so political. everyone tries to do their best of course. but when a fellow contestant does well (or badly), they clap and cheer for them ernestly. but is that what's really at the back of their head? somehow or rather, i think all of them secretly wished that something goes wrong.

of course there are still good sports around. but that probably makes up only 10% of the population.

the above makes american idol 3 such a turn off.

:: bleargh ::

i'm sick. again. i'm always falling sick. i think this time round, it's due to the lack of sleep. so much to do, so little time.
