:: may day may day ::

woohoo! went to see may day today at plaza sing and got my latest album autographed! though i really like their autographs to be on the cd cover instead of the box. but the management said they would autograph on the box only. but sheesh, i should have just asked them to autograph on both. they autographed on both the box and cd cover for the dvd i bought at the last minute!

paul and i reached there at 4. lotsa people were already there. but eventually we found that even if we came at 7, it's the same. there is no exclusive treatment for people who bother to turn up early. they still let people come into the so-called "vip" area even though they came late. wtf.

anyway i think the may day fans are sorta disgraceful. it's a rock band, not a boy band. it makes me really wonder why there are fucking whiny girls with ugly clothes that cheers the band on like they are at some boy band concert. please shoot them, someone. i really hope that the fans would be more of a matured crowd that truly loves rock music.

killer number 1 is this fat ah huay wearing a denim skirt with a mickey mouse print on it. she thinks she is damn pretty and she was talking on her phone loudly. turn off.

killer number 2 would definitely be the auntie in pink who tried to sneak into the tentage area. she tried to squeeze her bloody fat ass between the barricades which she did not succeed. good.

killer number 3 and 4 are the 2 girls who tried to squeeze in front of me and paul. but we just blocked them and i rolled my eyes at them. then one of them started wahlau-ing at paul. har har. in the end they still made their way to the front via a gap at the side. as long as they don't brush shoulders with me, i don't care.

killer number 5 would go to the girl in white who clapped like she's listening to some nursery songs. sorry girl, wrong place.

number 6 goes to the fat kid who tried to make friends with paul and i. he is like trying very hard to impress us. like showing off the gadgets he have and telling us many things about may day which are of no interest to us really. and he offered to buy the photos i took if i can send them to him. blah blah blah... there's lots of other things but i don't think it's worth my time mentioning so much about him.

and killer number 7, but the killerest of all, would be mag. she came like 630 and she tried to climb in. but paul stopped her and managed to convince the security to let her in through the correct passage. and so all went on fine until the autograph session. she actually went away without the autographed box and started whining like a sick cat after she discovered it. but blessing in disguise for her, she managed to get autographs on both the cd cover and box.

anyway may day really rocked the evening. they sang many many songs and woohoo! the feeling of hearing them live is fantastic! the whole atmosphere was so damn good and i really wished i wasn't carrying my bag so i can like maybe jump higher. they even sang songs in taiwanese which i didn't expect. i thought singapore laws doesn't allow that.

i think ah xin, ma sa and guai shou are really steady. when they shook hands with me, i can feel the sincerity in the handshake. like it's firm and steady. shi tou didn't really shake my hand. it's more like a tap which is like quite cool. as though we are old friends. that yan ming, now known as guan you, didn't really bothered. his handshake was quite weak and he seems not really interested. maybe it's all the drumming that took the energy out of him.

so there was sun wu kong, la ji che (boon soh chia), xiao hu shi, wen rou, ting bu dao and jue jiang from the new album. and for the encore, they did zhong jie gu dan which really hyped things up to the peak. then followed by ka chia and gong lang. too bad they didn't do tou lou. it would really be damn good if they did tou lou.

next concert would be next year i think. i think paul would definitely be going. who else wanna go?

:: hey hey hey ::

it has been long since i last blogged. i seem to start off my entries with this quite often. haha.

so the dog show's like less than 4 days away from now. this time round it will be at bishan instead of the usual singapore expo. it's a totally new experience since it will be outdoors. but i heard there are only 80 entries or so since the bigger dogs wouldn't be there. all thanks to bad management and planning. i've got a feeling this show's gonna be a flop. with all the bigger dogs gone, the best in show title would be like less prestigious.

finally terence has got a job and that will be good for him. it's not good bumming around all day doing nothing. so now i have more time for myself on weekdays. so now i spend my evening taking my dog for super long walks. then sometimes i can join paul lim at serangoon gardens to slack out.
