there has been an average of 11 visitors per day to this page since i started tracking the number of hits.

:: short weekend ::

the weekend is about to end soon. why do all weekends seem so short?

friday was andrew's birthday and we had a celebration at mox for him. 3 course dinner and after which we had oreo cheesecake from hilton (i think so). it's quite a strange place to have dinner at. it's more of a chill out lounge than a food outlet. but the service was good and the food's above average, so it's not too bad.

clubbing, even club hopping, has lost all its novelty. maybe it's a friday night, maybe i am getting old. i am enjoying less and less with regard to night life. unless it's sitting at some place, just enjoying booze and bitching about each other's life.

saturday was a little more slow paced. woke up late as usual and had my braces tightened at the dentist. went for jason's house warming at palm residence. it's a pretty good area to live in. his house is quite well done up with simple furnishing and it certainly made the whole place seem alot more spacious that it actually is. but parking and the facilities there are quite bad. the pool's only 0.6m in depth and like 10m in length. they could've just put in some plants and fish and convert it into a small pond for people to relax around. hah.

didn't do much today. just watch tv and eat.

i've decided to change the background again to sport a more matured theme. the one yesterday seems very juvenile to me after looking at it again. and i think this background seems more pleasing to the eye. my eye.

:: new skin again ::

oh finally done up with the new blog background. this time round i've decided to remove my pictures. 1st, it is to create a new mysterious image about me. 2nd, the magazines will have to get the pictures from me! they can no longer steal my pictures and use them for the mag cover.

actually the final product is not what i had in mind. but after like 1 hr i just don't give a damn anymore. probably re-do it when i have the time to do so.

and now i can't sleep.

it might be the fever that's affecting my mood. or maybe it's like in the movies. someone falls seriously ill and due to the illness, he sees the light about some things that he have never really thought about before.

i am fucking pissed now. maybe i should not have tried to find out what i found out. i shall start bothering less about things in the future.

i shall not try to be smart again. i tried to be a smartass and i told myself i should start to quit smoking. and it's only day 1 and i am so sick!

supposed to be at the airport today to send a friend off. but with my condition, i think it's better to stay at home and just sulk.

if my memory doesn't fail me, i have not posted a picture of terence here before. so for those who are curious about him, there you go. again it's a grayscale picture (with exception of the hearts) cause i don't really like color photos. but the valentine's day dinner picture is colored 'cause i think if it's in grayscale, nothing much can be made out of it.

ah hah! i've got my ipod 40gb thanks to my very spendthrift brother. he has decided to upgrade to 60gb cause he thought that the 40gb one has too limited disk space. but why the fuck would anyone want so many songs in a player? but anyway it's good for me so i am not gonna complain.

:: valentine's day dinner ::

ok. this is the first time i prepared dinner. like everything done by myself. we had dinner on my bed. i put a piece of shelving on the bed to act as the table and we sat on the bed to have the candlelight dinner.

there's potato and cheese soup. then there's chicken and mushroom sausage, red wine sauce pork chop and teriyaki salmon as the main course. terence's driving, so no red wine. only green tea and ice lemon tea. and we ended with peach sorbet.

although the food is not fantastic, i think ahhh it's not that bad either. ha ha ha. the pork chop was a little tough and the fish not really seasoned well.

anyway i like the set up of the little heart in the middle of the table.

:: happy valentine's ::

it has been a long break from work. since last tuesday i was missing in action. first it's chinese new year and then i actually decided to extend the break till tomorrow cause i don't really feel like going back to work.

anyway it's valentine's and i am still quite unplanned. should i cook at home? i know i would make a big mess outta it and end up having awful food for the dinner. but beside's fast food, i guess the other restaurants are fully booked already. and i don't think eating at kovan centre for valentine's day dinner is an exciting idea.

went to happy* last night. there's a party going on as usual. so they were giving out stickers with numbers on it at the door. supposed to paste it on your shirt so people can leave a message at the counter and they will flash your number on the screen and you can go retrieve the message. and i actually thought that the number is for lucky draw. but luckily no one left any messages for me. or maybe i am too drunk to notice. it's better not to receive any message than to receive a message and discover that it's from a hideous and balding old shit.

there were supposed to be some games (which is why i thought there will be lucky draw) but all night long was just music and dance and alcohol. and i really really thought that i can bring home a new plasma tv.

oh yah. the bloody bird shat (is this the past tense for shit?) on my bedsheet after i washed it and left it out to dry. i hope all birds (with the exception of cocks) die. fucking idiots.
