:: good book ::

i think the curious incident of the dog in the night-time is really a good book to read! thanks to paul lim for buying it before i buy it.

how he look at things and analyse them really intrigues me. like the part about stars being exploded away from us and when the force dies down, the stars would start falling back and that will be the end of the world. and i like the monty hall problem which he has included in the book because it's maths. he also puts having sex as "do sex" and it sounds kinda quirky and i like that. but obviously this kid has got some problems. like not liking brown and yellow stuff and totally avoiding them. and if 2 kinds of food touch each other, he wouldn't eat them.

but the best part is that all chapters are sorta linked. he would relate to some stuffs he wrote in previous chapters and that definitely appeals to me.

i am like halfway thru the book already. i don't know if i should speed read and finish it fast to satisfy my curiosity about the end, then read the book all over again to make sure i absorb the entire story and essence. or maybe i should read slowly and carefully and try to digest the book.

sometimes i need to read the chapter twice. because at the end of the chapter, i would realise that i might have missed out something important in the beginning. and sometimes i need to re-read the previous chapters to sorta recap.

awaiting for the da vinci code to be returned soon to paul so i can borrow. who is holding it now?
