in case fans out there are wondering what i am trying to here, i should explain myself a little first before i continue with the actual review. i will still continue to give updates about myself, so don't worry. i am just giving movie reviews to add a little more spice into this already spicy blog.

house of the flying daggers

starring andy lau, zhang ziyi and jin chengwu.

the story about this clan called flying dagger clan which is formed by anti-government people. they rob from the rich to give to the poor and try to go against the government.

the storyline is actually not bad. but i can't reveal much here since it's a new movie. mostly, i don't want to upset millions of people who read my blog in case i give the plot of the story away. in the beginning you will see andy lau and jin chengwu as 2 constables and they suspect zhang ziyi (a blind songstress) is the daughter of the late chief of the flying dagger clan. so they arrest her and hatched a plan to let her lead them to the new chief of the flying dagger clan. so jin chengwu broke into the jail and fled with her.

all i can say is that the story is full of fight scenes which are fantastic. coupled with lots of deceit and betrayal, it certainly made the movie move up by a notch. there's lots of scenes that are actually cornily funny and i had to kick the chair of that fucking bastard sitting in front of me so that he can stop guffawing loudly.

i give it 3.5 popcorns outta 5.
