:: world without thieves ::

i just watched it just now after meeting him for dinner. borrowed the movie from hollywoodclicks. i've wanted to watch it since it was out at the theatres but forgot why i didn't anyway.

it's about this couple, andy lau and rene liu, who are thieves who cheat and steal for a living. rene liu was expecting andy lau's baby but she kept it from him. she thought that she should quit doing these bad deeds and start doing something good in order to gain some good karma for their baby.

they met this boy who left his hometown to work and managed to save alot of money for his wedding back home. this boy is kinda naive and lives in a picture perfect world. he thinks that everyone in the world are kind and no one would steal his money.

so the main part of the show is about the 2 of them helping the boy evade other thieves who were eyeing on his money. lots of cool action about pickpocketing and all that. i think the plot is quite good and i enjoyed every part of the show.

but the police were planning an ambush on all the thieves on the train. so eventually everyone of them were supposed to be caught. but andy lau and rene liu managed to escape. and so did the main villian of the show.

while escaping, the villian took the boy's money and tried to sneak away with it. but andy lau made rene liu go off first, and he stayed to fight the villian to his death and get the money back.

it's very hard to write everything down here as the whole movie is filled with alot of details. i recommend those who have not watched it to watch it if you're interested.

it got me thinking again. movies always get me thinking.

i am thinking now still. i should start being nice and help people if i can. i need the extra good karma i can get.

but then again, deliberately helping to get good karma would mean that i have an intention. so with the intention, would it still count as "real" help from my heart?

i just want things around me to be better. the closest people around me enjoying a peaceful and successful life.
